In the world of Islamic boarding school education, a teacher not only acts as a transmitter of knowledge, but also as a figure who accompanies the students’ growth and development journey. Behind the attitudes, behavior and achievements of a student, there are psychological processes that need to be understood with the right approach.
This awareness is one of the main focuses in Basic Counseling Training for Teacherswhich equips educators with an understanding of the importance of communication, empathy, and the ability to read students’ emotional conditions.
This activity presents speakers from the field of psychology, Izza HimawantiTeam Leader Public Speaking Psychology Widya Wiwahaan academic, researcher, counselor, psychological assessor, and psychological public speaking practitioner.

Understanding Santri is not enough just to look at behavior
In the training, it was explained that an educator needs to understand that a student’s behavior often has a certain background. Silence, lack of enthusiasm for learning, difficulty adapting, even behavior that is considered problematic, does not always indicate a lack of discipline.
There are psychological, social and emotional factors that need to be explored before passing judgment.
“It is not enough for a teacher to just see what appears to be a child’s behavior, but needs to understand what is behind that behavior. Because every child has a different story and process.” This is the main message emphasized in the psychological counseling approach.
According to him, the relationship between teachers and students needs to be built with healthy communication. When a student feels heard and understood, the coaching process will be easier to accept.
Listen with Empathy, Guide with Knowledge
One of the important abilities introduced in training is active listening or active listening.
Active listening is not just hearing words, but understanding someone’s feelings, needs and the message they want to convey.
In the context of Islamic boarding schools, this ability is important because students live in an educational environment that demands independence, discipline and the ability to adapt.
“Good advice will be easier to accept when someone first feels appreciated and understood. Because education is not only a process of providing direction, but also building positive human relationships.” he said.
Teachers as Travel Companions for Santri Students
This basic counseling training is a reminder that Islamic boarding school education not only forms intellectual intelligence, but also builds character and emotional maturity.
Teachers have a strategic position in helping students face various challenges, both in learning, social life and personal development.
Armed with counseling knowledge and psychological approaches, teachers are expected to be able to create an Islamic boarding school environment that is more communicative, comfortable and supports the growth of students.
Because in the end, the success of education is not only measured by how much knowledge is conveyed, but also how much a teacher is able to provide a sense of security, role model and guidance for the growing generation.
Hope it is useful.
PakarPBN
A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
